Become A Trooper
As mothers of young children, it is inevitable that times will come when support and understanding are needed from a close network of mothers around you.  Whether it's a particular area you are having trouble with and need to talk to someone with experience or a time when you just need a shoulder to lean on,
The MOMs Troop offers many areas of outreach to our members.

Big Sister/Little Sister Program:
Designed to provide new members with a personal contact from the Troop  to provide one-on-one guidance for the new member.  Its’ goal is to make new members feel welcome and help them navigate through the Troop and it’s activities.  It also functions to aid them in building new relationships and finding their place as a Trooper in the beginning of their membership.  If you have any questions about this program or would like to volunteer to be a Big Sister, please contact our Program Coordinator, Jenn Jarskey, at outreach@themomstroop.org.

Be Well Program:
From setting up home-cooked meal deliveries to getting you in touch with someone who has experienced what you are going through, this program is designed to work as a support system for our members in addressing  their health and wellness for mind, body, and spirit.  This also includes any time one of our member's spouse has to go away for a while.  Whether it's TDY, business, or various family situations, there may be a time when you or your spouse must go away for a period of time.  If there is any way that we can lend a helping hand or a shoulder to lean on, just let Mandy Retzinger, our Be Well Coordinator, know at outreach@themomstroop.org and we will be there for you.

Special Deliveries Program:
This program is responsible for coordinating the making and delivery of “special delivery” baskets the Troop puts together for our mothers who have welcomed a new baby into their family.  Jessica Gray, the Special Deliveries Coordinator, will notify the Troop when a special delivery basket is being assembled.

Special Occasions:
This committee's purpose is to share with our Troop Moms the celebration of life's special and significant moments.  This committee recognizes the member's birthday,  a new family member and other joyful occasions or significant events in the member's life. If you have any questions, suggestions, or would like to share any important news about yourself or a fellow Trooper, please contact us at outreach@themomstroop.org.

Members-Only Community Forum:
The Community Forum was established for MOMs Troop members to have a place where they can come to share their ideas, ask for and give advice, and  hold general discussions on a wide range of topics.  This Members-Only area of the Troop website was designed with the idea  in mind that no matter how large a membership we develop, we can  still be there for one another to give and receive support, lend an ear, or offer an idea.  In an effort to continually offer our members more benefits and to meet one of our primary goals for the Troop, this forum was created.  We hope you will
Utilize This Benefit and ENJOY!
